GFL Environmental is seeking a Swing Driver for casual work in Antigonish, NS. Join us to operate various truck types for waste collection while ensuring safety and efficiency.

In this role, you will safely drive and manage solid waste and recyclables collection using a range of vehicles. Your daily tasks include completing necessary safety inspections, communicating mechanical issues, and maintaining compliance with regulations. You’ll also play a vital role in upholding safety standards and providing excellent service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate multiple vehicle types, including Front End and Roll Off
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reports
• Communicate vehicle issues to mechanics promptly




• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicles

Requirements:
• Valid Class 3 Driver's License is required
• At least one year of commercial driving experience
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to operate waste collection vehicles is an asset
• Adhere to company and safety protocols
