Position Overview Our client is seeking a contract QE Lead to support Payments initiatives, with particular emphasis on Interac and Real-Time Rails .

The successful candidate will provide hands-on QE leadership while leading a team of approximately 10-15 resources.

Key Responsibilities Lead QE delivery for Payments initiatives.

Lead and coordinate a QE team of approximately 15 resources.

Develop test strategies, plans and execution approaches.

Work closely with product, business, engineering and technology stakeholders.

Provide QE leadership across Interac and Real-Time Rails initiatives.

Ensure appropriate functional, API and automation coverage.

Review automation approaches and provide technical guidance.

Identify quality risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Monitor test execution, defects, risks and overall quality status.

Communicate progress and issues to project leadership.

Support continuous improvement of QE and automation practices.

Required Qualifications Solid QE/Test Lead experience.





Strong Payments domain experience .

Direct experience with Interac and/or Real-Time Rails initiatives.

Experience leading QE/testing teams.

Strong test strategy and planning experience.

Strong automation experience.

Experience with Java/Selenium, Playwright, Rest Assured or similar technologies.

Strong understanding of both functional testing and automation.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications Accessibility testing experience.

Experience with API testing.

Experience with financial services/banking.

Experience with multiple automation frameworks.

Experience working in large enterprise transformation programs.

Contract Expected start: immediate/as soon as an appropriate candidate is identified .

Expected duration: 12 months One round interview
