Qualifications Current Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario BCLS required at time of hire Minimum 2-5 years recent Paediatric experience in an acute setting ( Inpatient unit or Emergency Dept.) required PALS certificate an asset NRP certification required within 6 months of hire Related courses in paediatric nursing preferred Venipuncture and therapy skills Demonstrated ability to work with families Breastfeeding certificate required an asset Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize.
