Location The working hours for this role are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 8.15am to 1.30pm, and Tuesday, 8.15am to 3.30pm. RESPONSIBILITIES • To support form teachers in delivering the curriculum across a range of subjects in Early years KS1 and KS2 classes to include: • Planning activities and preparing resources for lessons.



• Escorting groups of children around the school to specialist teachers • Assisting children with organisational tasks • Hearing and supporting readers • Completing reading record books • Helping teachers to create stimulating displays • Helping to maintain a safe and tidy workplace • Working with small ability groups within the classroom • Working with SEND needs groups under the guidance of the teachers • Accompany children on outings and out of school activities within the school day where required Safeguarding Statement Chinthurst School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
