Creating a better world, one student at a time

LeRoy School requires a Temporary Full-Time ( FTE1.00) Educational Assistant to commence as soon as possible and conclude the day before the Christmas break in December 2028.

Salary and benefits are per the current HSSA Agreement. The hours of work will be equivalent to 6 hours and 10 minutes per day, arranged by the principal.

Duties

- Role of the Educational Assistant as outlined in Role Description
- Providing academic, developmental and social support for students with academic and behavioral issues

Qualifications

- Experienced and demonstrated ability to work effectively with students with academic and behavioral issues




- Robust interpersonal and communication skills are perceived as definite assets in this assignment
- Possess a valid driver's license (so that transportation for students with diverse needs can be accommodated where needed)
