We are growing and looking for a qualified Heavy-Duty Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our growing team today at our Shop in Steinbach, MB. “Build your future with a shop that invests in you, where your experience earns respect, stability, and room to grow.” What We Offer: Comprehensive benefit plan & life insurance Employee assistance program On-site gym Boot allowance $150 annually Tool allowance $500 annually Stable year-round work with well-maintained equipment In office parking Support for a healthy home/work balance Duties & Responsibilities: The Heavy-Duty Truck & Trailer Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on commercial transport trucks and trailers; ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications and legislated safety standards.

Accurately interpreting and completing work orders and supporting apprentices through guidance and knowledge-sharing as required.





Ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standards to maximize uptime and availability Inspect and test mechanical units (engines, transmissions, axles, brake systems) to locate faults and malfunctions Diagnose, adjust, repair, or replace parts and components on truck systems (chassis, frame, cab, engine & drivetrain, air brakes, steering, fuel, hydraulic, electrical, electronic) Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components on truck-trailer and trailer systems (structural, brake, electrical) Promote safety and quality; follow all health, safety, environmental policies and procedures Complete related duties as assigned What You Bring: Licensed Red Seal Heavy Duty Truck & Trailer Mechanic Registered Level 3 Apprentices will be considered. CVIP Certification required Class 1 License (considered an asset) Safety-first mindset; able to maintain a clean, organized work area Proven ability to interpret work orders/technical manuals and document repairs & parts accurately Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal Strong diagnostics across truck and trailer systems; capable in scheduled PM and corrective repairs High attention to detail, strong organization,
