Job description: We are looking for a maintenance supervisor packaging to join a manufacturing company in the packaging industry.

Reporting to the maintenance director, you will supervise a team of electromechanics and play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and improvement of production equipment.

Main Responsibilities: Supervise, motivate, and develop a team of electromechanics; Plan and ensure the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance work; Ensure the performance and reliability of equipment; Help resolve equipment downtime and recurring issues; Provide technical expertise and track maintenance issues; Collaborate with production teams and various departments to ensure operational continuity; Participate in the plant’s improvement and capital projects; Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and internal procedures; Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of the team; Manage inventory and maintenance parts.

Skills and qualifications : DEC in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field; 3 to 5 years of experience supervising a team in a manufacturing environment; Experience in the packaging industry is a significant asset; Experience with a maintenance management system, ideally SAP; Working knowledge of French and English; Leadership, excellent communication skills, and a robust sense of responsibility; Ability to manage multiple priorities and motivate a team; Independence, organizational skills, and a focus on continuous improvement.
