What will you do? Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role.

Prepare and process capital calls, cash flow analysis to ensure sufficient weekly fund liquidity, maintain audit-compliant cash transactions back-ups and prepare bank reconciliations; Maintain fund-level and management companies journal entries in the in-house accounting system Consolidate property/development accounting reports, calculate management fees, performance fees and investor allocations, prepare the quarterly shadow reports, review 3rd party administrator net asset value packages.

Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and ASPE, and prepare quarterly due diligence questionnaires Prepare working papers documenting ratio and fluctuation analysis and supporting calculations needed in the quarterly portfolio management reports.

Work closely with external auditors during interim and annual internal controls and financial audits.

Prepare compliance working papers to lenders.





Support team members and other departments as required.

Training will be provided.

What type of experience should you have? These are only some of the things we’d like you to bring to the table.

We can cover the rest when we meet. 2 years of experience in Fund Accounting Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.

Experience with JD Edwards an asset. A self-starter.

Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, plan ahead, commit and deliver within the set time frames.

Ambition to learn and grow professionally.

Strong skills in task-prioritization and multitasking.

Being able to switch gears among various ongoing tasks, while understanding the priorities.

Strong people skills. A team player with a proven ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization as well as with external parties such as vendors, auditors, and business partners.
