Our client is seeking a dedicated Buyer specializing in Raw Materials to join their team in Kimberley . This role is integral to ensuring a consistent and cost-effective supply of essential raw materials required for the company's manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing relationships with suppliers of raw materials, ensuring quality and timely delivery to meet production schedules. Key Responsibilities Source, procure, and manage the supply of raw materials according to quality specifications and production needs.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve cost savings and ensure supply chain reliability.
Monitor market trends and commodity prices for raw materials to anticipate fluctuations and optimize purchasing strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key raw material suppliers, ensuring performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
Collaborate with production, quality control,



and logistics teams to ensure seamless integration of material supply with operational demands.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
Requirements Proven experience as a Buyer , with a specific focus on raw materials or manufacturing components.
Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and negotiation techniques.
Knowledge of market dynamics and pricing structures for various raw materials.
Excellent analytical skills to forecast demand and manage inventory effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building supplier relationships in Kimberley .
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
