Qualifications and Experience Certified through the BC Teacher Regulation Branch.

Bachelor’s Degree in Education required.

Required course load for a particular subject area at the high school level (12 UBC units, second year or greater).

Successful classroom teacher experience and/or pre-service experience in a secondary school setting.

Demonstrated proficiency to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Demonstrated ability to maintain skills through professional learning.

Knowledge and understanding of the effects of colonization within the education system and its impact on teaching and learning in today’s schools.

Experience integrating Indigenous perspectives into the curriculum together with practicing Indigenous ways of teaching and learning. *Please note: Letters of Permission may be considered with a minimum qualification of a red seal automotive or equivalent*Assignment: Temporary Contract, November 16, 2026, to January 29, 2027 (.857 FTE), or until the return of the incumbent; teaching one Power Tech. (Grade 8) block, and two Mechanic blocks (Grade 9).

Salary: $62,657 - $113,004 per annum
