QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And Experience Graduate of an approved Health Information Management Skilled program.

Certification with the Canadian College of Health Information Management Health Records Administrators at the Certificant Level (CHIM).

Eligible for membership in the Canadian Health Information Management Association.

One year experience in a Medical Records Department utilizing computerized health records system.

Skills And Abilities Ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends in the field of work.

Ability to use computerized systems, including software commonly used in the industry.

Ability to communicate effectively.

Ability to work in teams.

Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with others.

Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
