Our client is looking for an experienced Reconciliation Specialist to join an automotive organization in Edmonton, Alberta on a 2–4 week Contract .

This in-office role is ideal for someone who can quickly step in to complete outstanding bank reconciliations, investigate variances, and bring accuracy and clarity to account activity.

Responsibilities: Complete outstanding bank reconciliations for two accounts.

Review daily and historical cash activity to identify discrepancies, unmatched transactions, and missing entries.

Investigate and resolve reconciling items using supporting financial records.

Maintain explicit documentation of reconciliation findings and adjustments.

Support payment activity reviews and ensure account balances are accurate.

Use advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and lookup functions, to analyze transaction data.

Collaborate with the accounting team to understand account history and resolve outstanding issues.

Support reconciliation of floorplan-related transactions and ensure accurate financial records.
