Required Qualifications: Non-restricted registration in good standing with the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACOP) as a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP).

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) CPR certification.

Must hold a valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence, or equivalent, and provide a five (5)-year driver abstract, current within six (6) months and with no more than six (6) demerits, prior to commencing work.

Proof of successful completion of the Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation ( test, verified by a certificate provided by the Lifemark organization, is required for applicants who do not already hold a clinical position within EHS (VESST, Clinical Educator, EMR, PCP, ACP, or Community Paramedic).





The test must be completed no more than six (6) months prior to the date of the job offer.

Preferred Qualifications: Preference is given to those with previous EMS experience in a metro, suburban, rural, or interfacility workplace and in other areas of Health Care and Public Safety.

Completion of additional post-secondary programs is considered an asset.
