Job Description: Conduct proactive and reactive security patrols of interior and exterior areas, including in inclement weather Respond to emergency, medical, and fire incidents while remaining calm and professional Perform Patient Watch, investigate routine incidents, and enforce parking, smoking, and site by-laws Maintain accurate reports and notes for incidents and end-of-shift documentation Apply advanced de-escalation skills and enforce site policies, rules, and regulations Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks and support site operations Present a professional presence, uphold client and company expectations, and perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications: Valid Security License for the province of Ontario Valid Standard First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider) Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination) A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2) How to get Hired in Healthcare: Record Form: Immunization-Record-Ontario-Paladin.pdf Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)



1 year of security experience (healthcare experience is strongly preferred) Authorized to legally work in Canada Must be able to provide certifications in Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) & Use of Force (UoF) Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's MOAB/UoF training program in prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position

Please be aware: The MOAB/UoF training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability
