Become a key member of the Department of Social Development and Seniors as a Bilingual Intake Screener in Charlottetown, PEI. Provide essential support through assessments for social programs and help diverse communities.

This full-time temporary role focuses on conducting intake assessments and managing service eligibility for Social Programs. You will work with individuals facing financial challenges while providing informed advocacy and support. Collaborate with colleagues, applicants, and community organizations to facilitate referrals and enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct intake assessments via phone or in-person
• Identify emergencies requiring immediate intervention
• Manage application documentation for eligibility




• Determine program eligibility according to regulations
• Liaise with assessment teams and schedule appointments

Requirements:
• University degree in relevant social sciences field
• Experience in social services and community resources
• Strong understanding of social program regulations
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French
• Valid PEI Driver’s license required
