QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And Experience Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.

Two years recent, related experience in immunodeficiency and Hereditary Angioedema, IVIG/SCIG administration and C1 Esterase Inhibitor administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills And Abilities Demonstrated proficiency in intravenous therapy.

Demonstrated ability to respond to adverse reaction to treatment and support the patient.

Demonstrated knowledge of SCIG/C1-INH blood products.

Demonstrated current knowledge of patient education techniques, methods and procedures for treatment of SCIG/C1 Esterase Inhibitor patients.





Comprehensive knowledge of blood products and current transfusion practices.

Ability to plan and organize workload, establish priorities and accomplish objectives.

Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team.

Ability to deal with conflict situations, recent or unexpected events.

Ability to operate related equipment including a computer and related software tools.

Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
