Hi there! We are a welcoming family recent to Ajax, Ontario seeking a reliable and responsible nanny to help us out at home as we adjust to life with a newborn. This position is initially for the summer only, on a part-time, live-out basis (hourly based), with possibility of extension after the summer if needed. The ideal candidate will have experience with infants, references, the appropriate certifications and/or proved experience, and be able to assist with housekeeping, meal prep, and pet care as needed. Being comfortable with dogs is a must. We are offering $22.00 per hour and flexible hours. We look for 3 hours twice a week. Our main priority is to find someone who will support our family in this transition by helping out with light household duties, including light cleaning (emptying the dishwasher, laundry of baby's clothes, tidying up main areas and nursery) and meal prepping (chopping veggies; cooking basic ingredients would be a plus) and pet care, if possible (play, brush or walk). We have two mini huskies at home who love attention. Because we are with a newborn, his safety is our top priority, so we require that anyone who is coming to our house has the TDAP vaccine and is overall healthy.
