Point / Microsoft Modernization Consultant to support an accelerated Microsoft transformation initiative involving Share

Point Online migration, legacy Share

Point administration, and ongoing Microsoft operational support.

This engagement will play a critical role in helping the organization complete an ambitious modernization program on an accelerated timeline.

The successful consultant will contribute across Share

Point Online migrations, administration of multiple legacy Share

Point environments, Microsoft operational support, automation, and governance initiatives while helping reduce risk during a large-scale enterprise migration.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable supporting production environments, executing migrations, troubleshooting complex Share

Point issues, and working with business stakeholders throughout modernization efforts.

Part time and full-time contract options available - % Remote in EST timezone.

The successful candidate must hold an active Government of Canada Secret clearance and must be eligible for controlled goods clearance.

Responsibilities Support enterprise migration of legacy Share

Point environments into Share

Point Online Build, configure, and administer Share

Point Online sites and related Microsoft collaboration services Provide operational support and troubleshooting across Share

Point Online and legacy Share

Point environments Assess existing Share

Point sites and develop migration and decommissioning plans Validate migrated content, permissions, and user acceptance activities Assist with Share

Point governance,



permissions management, and operational best practices Develop Power

Shell automation to improve administration, migration, and operational efficiency Support Microsoft Purview initiatives including information governance, sensitivity labels, and data classification Contribute to One

Drive governance and Microsoft collaboration standards Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to prioritize migration activities and modernization efforts Document solutions, configurations, and operational procedures Must Haves 5+ years of Share

Point administration and engineering experience Demonstrated experience migrating enterprise environments to Share

Point Online Experience supporting legacy Share

Point environments including Share

Point , , and/or Share

Point Subscription Edition Experience with Share

Point farm administration, search configuration, and environment troubleshooting Strong understanding of Share

Point permissions, governance, and information architecture Experience developing Power

Shell automation for Share

Point and Microsoft administration Experience working with Microsoft collaboration technologies Nice to Have Microsoft Purview implementation experience including DLP, sensitivity labels, and information protection Experience with One

Drive governance and administration Experience using Share

Gate or other enterprise migration tools Microsoft administration experience including Teams, Exchange Online, and Entra ID Experience with backup and recovery solutions for Microsoft workloads Previous experience supporting large enterprise or government environments
