We are hiring Tool & Die Makers for our Day and Afternoon shifts.

Day Shift: 6.00am to 2.00pm (Monday to Friday)

Afternoon Shift: 2.00pm to 10.00pm (Monday to Friday)

Location: Newmarket, ON

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Evaluate the root cause of tooling failures and perform general service, repair and improvements to the dies
- Read and interpret die drawings
- Maintain existing tooling, working to an accuracy of 1/1000 of inch minimum
- Assist Jr. Toolmakers with their work and help the Lead Hand to teach apprentices
- Organize own work as well as the workload of Jr.



Toolmakers in an efficient and professional manner
- Strive to get immediate resolution of problem situations
- Troubleshoot in the press when required

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma with four (4) year apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
- Eight (8) years tool making experience with an emphasis on die maintenance
- Ability to open, close and flip dies safely
- Familiarity with all machine tools
