About the Role A prominent sports venue in Kimberley is seeking an experienced Sports Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, operations, and development of its extensive sports grounds and buildings. This critical role ensures that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe and optimal setting for athletes, events, and the public. The Manager will be responsible for budgeting, staff supervision, and implementing best practices in facility management and event support.
Key Responsibilities Manage the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all sports fields, courts, arenas, and related infrastructure.
Develop and implement operational plans, including groundskeeping schedules, cleaning protocols, and safety procedures.
Supervise and lead a team of maintenance staff, groundskeepers, and facility technicians.
Oversee the facility budget, manage expenditures, and ensure cost-effective operations.
Coordinate with event organizers to ensure facilities are prepared and meet specific requirements for sports events and other functions.




Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Sports Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sports facility management or operations.
Proven experience in groundskeeping, building maintenance, and event support.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to sports facilities.
Excellent leadership, project management, and budgeting skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
