Are you a seasoned Project Financial Specialist looking for your next opportunity?
Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Project Financial Analyst supporting project financial governance, operational efficiency, and resource management within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position involves collaborating closely with senior leadership and immediate team members to ensure accurate financial oversight, process improvement, and project support.
Pay rate range (CAD): $54.35/hr – $65.22/hr
Responsibilities Maintain project financial forecasts, monitor progress, and escalates risks, issues, and action items as needed
Manage and reconcile project financials, including accruals, GL reconciliation, chargebacks, invoice tracing, forecasting, and variance analysis with clear commentary
Prepare and deliver financial and status reports for leadership teams and executive committees
Lead governance activities and contribute to operational process improvements, tools, and reporting enhancements
Respond effectively to shifting priorities, manage multiple deliverables, and support project milestones
Support resource allocation governance, onboard users to Eclipse, and provide troubleshooting and user support
Create, reengineer, and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Assist the director in preparing executive presentations and conduct ad hoc analysis on financial data and operational metrics
Desired Skill-Set 5-10 years of experience in Project Coordination, Business Effectiveness, with a focus on Financial Planning & Analysis




Proven expertise managing program and project financials including GL reconciliation, forecasting, and variance analysis
Strong analytical skills to manipulate, interpret, and report on data from multiple systems
Data-driven mindset with the capability to understand data relationships and generate insights
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with attention to detail
Experience in process documentation, design, and continuous improvement initiatives
Demonstrated leadership with a proactive, ownership-oriented approach
Nice to Have Prior experience working within FIor familiarity with its processes
Knowledge ofGL reconciliation and Eclipse platform
Advanced skills in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
Experience with Jira, Power BI, Alteryx, and Confluence
Strong storytelling skills with the ability to prepare impactful executive presentations
