Job description
TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Piping OR Structural Designer on behalf of a valued client. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled design skilled to support complex electrical projects while providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality design deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
The day-to-day activities vary depending on the timing and complexity of the project; however, the typical expected responsibilities include:

Software experience with CadWorx

Assist with the layout and design of process equipment modules for oil and gas processing facilities.

Develop piping designs, 3D models, and detailed piping layouts.

Prepare structural steel skid, pipe support, fabrication, and structural drawings.

Produce piping isometrics and other design deliverables required for fabrication and construction.

Revise designs based on vendor information, engineering requirements, and stress analysis updates.

Organize design documentation and coordinate project information with engineering and other disciplines.

Assist with material take-offs, piping component calculations, and pre-order material requirements.





Collaborate with piping checkers, mechanical engineers, and fabrication personnel to support project execution.

Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology (EDDT), or an equivalent combination of training and experience in piping design.
