Metrolinx is seeking one dedicated Apprentice Coach Technician to join the Bus Fleet Maintenance – Quality Assurance Office. The role includes attending training sessions mandated by the Ministry of Labour and mastering hands-on skills in vehicle repairs. You will work Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:00, and gain valuable experience completing necessary courses.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend and pass designated courses and training sessions
• Learn to perform repairs and preventative maintenance
• Support quality assurance initiatives within the team
• Maintain a protected work environment following corporate policies
• Obtain job-related certifications as required
Requirements:
• High school diploma with motor vehicle repair focus
• One year experience in bus or heavy vehicle maintenance
• Valid Ontario Class “G” driver's licence
• Ability to achieve Class “C” licence and “Z” endorsement
• Completion of wheel installation and safety training
