Be the backbone of our vehicle fleet as an Automotive Mechanic focusing on school buses and maintenance vehicles. Contribute to a protected ride for students with your technical skills.

In this role, you will ensure NJMVC compliance while maintaining the district's fleet. Candidates should have 3 years of technical training or 5 years of automotive experience across various vehicles including buses and trucks. Experience with small engines and knowledge of electronic systems is a plus for effective maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Perform repairs on small engine equipment
• Stay updated with vehicle electronic systems
• Lift heavy equipment as necessary

Requirements:
• Graduate of Technical Institute with automotive experience
• ASE certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift 50 lbs
• Good communication and listening skills
