Title: Data Center Technician I and II

Location: Mackenzie, BC, Canada

Duration: 3-6 Month Contract

Paid Travel and Lodging + $120 per diem

Will work 40 hours and then some OT

Pay Rate: $30 - $45hr

Required Qualifications

- 2-3+ years of experience in a data center
- Experience with cabling, hardware installation, equipment replacement, and troubleshooting.
- Robust understanding of structured cabling and data center standards.
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams, documentation, and work instructions.
- Experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for servers and network devices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting operational and project-based work.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, replace, and troubleshoot data center hardware and infrastructure.
- Perform structured cabling work and support network connectivity requirements.




- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for servers and network devices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues in data center environments.
- Read and interpret technical documentation, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Support project execution while maintaining data center best practices.
- Act as an escalation resource for Technician I team members.
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful project completion.
