Location: Toronto, Ontario

Duration: 9 Months

Schedule: Monday–Friday, core business hours

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote

Extension/ Conversion: Possibility based on business needs and performance

Job Summary The Vendor Manager is responsible for managing third-party business arrangements throughout all stages of the Third Party Management Lifecycle (TPML) . This role involves monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on vendor performance, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and policies, and mitigating risks associated with vendor relationships.

The successful candidate will support a high-profile portfolio and regularly collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders regarding current vendor engagements. The role requires strong relationship management skills, the ability to guide stakeholders through relevant processes, and the capability to manage vendor engagements from initiation through completion.

- Key Responsibilities Manage third-party business arrangements through all stages of the Third Party Management Lifecycle (TPML).
- Monitor, analyze, and report on vendor performance against SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs .
- Identify, assess, and escalate issues to mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships.
- Lead problem resolution for complex vendor-related issues and provide subject matter expertise.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.
- Support new vendor engagements by collaborating with stakeholders and guiding them through applicable processes.
- Conduct internal and external research projects and support the development of presentations for management.




- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business requirements and manage vendor transitions or terminations.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of assigned work.
- Support third-party risk and governance activities throughout the vendor lifecycle.
- Work closely with sourcing and procurement stakeholders on vendor-related engagements.
- Adapt to changing business requirements and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency when addressing issues and deliverables.
- Must-Have Required Qualifications5+ years of Vendor Management experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Third Party Management Lifecycle (TPML).
- University degree or diploma.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Ability to manage complex issues and drive them toward resolution.
- Preferred Qualifications / Nice to Have Banking or financial services experience.
- Prior experience with risk assessment and third-party risk management.
- Project management experience, including the ability to lead, plan, implement, and evaluate project activities.
- Familiarity with procurement platforms such as Coupa and SAP Ariba .
- Knowledge or experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot .
- CSP or PMP certification is an asset.
