Port City Emergency Veterinary Hospital is looking for one more veterinarian to join our 8-doctor practice. We’re a busy, established emergency hospital with a supportive environment, a great work culture and plenty of opportunity to learn, grow and practice good medicine.

Privately owned, independent and locally operated, we opened our doors in June 2022 and have been serving the Saint John community ever since.

New grads, 2027 grads, GPs looking for a change and experienced ER veterinarians are all welcome.

We hire for personality, work ethic and an eagerness to learn. We can teach the rest.

You’ll work alongside experienced veterinarians, excellent technicians and dedicated support staff who allow you to focus on what matters most: the medicine, decision making and clients.

If you’re newer to emergency medicine, you won’t be thrown into the deep end. Our experienced doctors are approachable, supportive and genuinely enjoy teaching. You’ll have the opportunity to build your skills and confidence while gradually taking on more independence. For experienced ER veterinarians, we offer plenty of autonomy and the opportunity to bring your own experience, ideas and approach to the practice.
