Duties
- Assist veterinary staff with daily operations
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, treatment areas, and equipment to uphold health standards as well as other areas in and around the clinic
- Support intake and discharge processes by preparing and cleaning kennels
- Ensure proper sanitation by disinfecting kennels, tools, and workspaces regularly
- Provide compassionate care and comfort to animals during their stay or treatment
- Assist with reception duties
Requirements
- Prior veterinary experience is required
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving procedures
