Summary

We are seeking a Full-Time Video Editor/Creator to join our content production team based in North York, ON. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing high-quality video and audio content for platforms such as YouTube and other short-form channels. This role requires a strong understanding of fast-paced social media formats and the ability to transform long-form content into concise, compelling clips that capture attention within seconds.

This is a full-time position requiring 30-40 hours per week. Due to the nature of our content production schedule, candidates must be available to work evening hours and on Saturdays. The role follows a hybrid work arrangement, with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week working from home. Scheduling flexibility is required based on production needs.

Responsibilities

- Edit audio and video content tailored for YouTube and other digital platforms.
- Cut, trim, and sync dialogue, background music,



and sound effects to maximize viewer engagement.
- Add captions, transitions, and on-screen text that align with brand guidelines and style consistency.
- Work closely with the production team to maintain a unified visual and tonal direction.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Ensure all content is formatted, exported, and optimized based on platform-specific technical standards.

Qualifications

- Solid understanding of digital marketing and social media content strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Media, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency with video and audio editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, etc.) preferred.
- Experience producing content for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or similar short-form platforms is an asset.
- Solid grasp of design fundamentals and visual storytelling techniques.
- Knowledge in stock market or financial-related content is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished, high-quality work.

Pay: $17.95 per hour
