POSITION DESCRIPTION
The University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies (UTIAS) in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering at the University of Toronto invites applications for a full-time tenure stream position in Aerospace Engineering with a research focus broadly in aeronautics. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2027.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must have earned a PhD degree in aerospace engineering or a related area by the time of appointment, or shortly thereafter, with a demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching in aeronautics. Areas of specialization include, but are not limited to, sustainable aviation, aerodynamics, flight control/simulation/autonomy, aeroacoustics, fluid mechanics, aircraft design, aircraft propulsion, aircraft materials/structures, or aircraft manufacturing. We seek candidates whose research and teaching interests complement and enhance our existing .
