Volunteer Blog Writers Wanted: Raising Nature's Child

Do you believe that good health starts at home, with real food, time outdoors, and a more natural approach to caring for the people we love? Raising Nature's Child is looking for three to four volunteer blog writers who share that belief and want to help caregivers make informed, confident choices for their families.

Raising Nature's Child is a Canadian not-for-profit caregiver education platform grounded in natural and holistic wellness. Our blog is one of the main ways we reach parents, grandparents, and caregivers, and we'd love to add a few thoughtful recent voices to it.

What you'll do

You'll write a blog post every few weeks, each between 350 and 750 words. Every post takes current research or an emerging trend in areas like whole-food nutrition, natural remedies, child development, or family wellness, and turns it into something parents can actually use. Think less literature review, more "here's what the evidence says, and here's what you might try at home this week." You'll work with our team on topic selection and editing, and you can write from anywhere on your own schedule.

Who we're looking for

- A real interest in, and working knowledge of, natural and holistic wellness, nutrition, and related areas




- Writing experience, whether that's blogging, journalism, health communication, academic work, or something similar
- Comfort reading research and translating it into plain, friendly language with practical takeaways
- Reliability with deadlines and openness to editorial feedback
- A background in health, nutrition, early childhood education, or holistic practice is a bonus but not required
