We make skincare in Toronto and we ship it ourselves. We need one solid, fast, high-energy person to run daily orders and ecommerce, and to keep the warehouse, production floor, and basic building and grounds work moving. This is a hands-on job. You think on your feet, switch tasks without being chased, and finish what you start.
What you will do
- Process online and customer orders accurately and quickly: pick, pack, label, and ship
- Use FedEx, Canada Post, and UPS, prepare shipping documents, and hit courier cut-offs
- Receive raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. Check quantity and condition, then label, store, and rotate
- Keep inventory records accurate and report damage, shortages, expiry, and count errors the same day
- Support production when orders slow: filling, bottling, labeling, coding, assembling, case packing, and palletizing
- Keep up with the preventative maintenance (PM) program once trained, including scheduled cleaning and servicing of production and manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Move materials with a pallet jack and walkie forklift once trained
- Keep warehouse and production areas clean, stocked, and safe: sweep, mop, sanitize, waste, recycling, and carton breakdown
- Follow GMP, SOPs, hygiene, and safety rules, and complete the paperwork that goes with the work
- Cover a set property list: inside cleanup, outside landscape tidy, filter changes, and small handyman fixes you are trained and authorized to do
- Fix the safe, obvious problems and report the rest immediately
What we need
- Strong, fast,
and motivated, with the stamina for a full day on your feet
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lb (about 23 kg), and to bend, reach, push, and pull safely
- Detail-oriented under speed. Orders go out right, not just out
- Able to follow written instructions and learn inventory, shipping, and production systems
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working alone or with a small team
- Willing to move between orders, warehouse, production, cleaning, maintenance, and property tasks based on the day
Warehouse, shipping, ecommerce, or manufacturing experience is an asset, not a requirement. We will train the right person. Cosmetics, personal care, food, or other GMP experience is a plus.
