Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our Fountain Food and Beverages team at our Hamilton Distribution Center. This role is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, inventory handling, and shipping, while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with food safety and health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate Raymond reach trucks and warehouse equipment.
- Receive dairy products from production plants and verify quantities, lot numbers, dates, and paperwork.
- Store products in push-back pallet racking according to warehouse storage plans.
- Maintain FIFO inventory rotation and organize refrigerated storage areas for efficient picking.
- Consolidate partially used pallets onto newer pallets and clearly label Best Before Dates (BBD).
- Move products with less than 10 days remaining BBD to designated rework or scrap areas.
- Prepare refrigerated warehouse floor stock for daily picking operations.
- Move pallets from racks to floor staging locations as required.
- Load outbound trailers and third-party carrier trucks safely and accurately.
- Pick customer pickup orders and stage them for collection.
- Prepare products and paperwork for plant returns and transfers.
- Prepare or verify shipping and receiving documentation.
- Report inventory discrepancies, product damage, and quality concerns.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and warehouse organization standards.
- Assist dry storage operations with loading,



unloading, and organization when workload permits.
- Comply with all health, safety, GMP, HACCP, and company procedures.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Skills

- Valid Reach Truck Certification.
- Minimum 1 year Raymond Reach Truck experience.
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
- Previous warehouse or distribution-centre experience is preferred.
- Food, beverage, dairy, refrigerated, or cold-storage experience is an asset.
- Forklift or walkie-rider pallet-jack certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain company certification.
- Able to accurately complete records and follow written procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
- Comfortable working in refrigerated areas, typically between 0°C and 4°C.
