We are actively recruiting for a Weekend Respite Caregiver to support a nonverbal female in her personal home with all activities of daily living.

She enjoys dancing, listening to music and singing.

Location:

- Cloverdale, BC (Near Cloverdale Rodeo)

Shifts and Hours:

- Weekend Respite for some weekends or all weekends per month
- Starting Friday at 2:00pm and ending Monday at 10:00am
- This is in the individuals home with a bedroom in an above ground basement suite is offered

Compensation

- $700 per weekend (From Friday to Monday)

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

- All activities of daily living such as full support with hygiene and personal care
- Assistance with cooking and feeding
- Going into the community for activities
- Assistance during the night when needed, she typically sleeps through the night but may require occasional assistance. (She has not been sleeping a lot lately, so the respite worker may experience broken sleep)




- She is nonverbal and communicates through facial expressions and noises

Qualifications

- Valid First Aid is required
- Preference for caregiver of Christian faith or open to it
- Must be able to be part of a team and work along side the family

Pay: $700.00 per week
