We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and personable individual to host the sales centre for a new residential community in Cobourg, Ontario.

This is not a sales position. Your role will be to welcome visitors, provide general information about the community, and ensure everyone who visits has a positive experience.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone local to Cobourg who is looking for a relaxed, part-time weekend position, including post-secondary students, retirees, or anyone seeking supplemental income.

The position is temporary, with an initial commitment of approximately two months and the possibility of an extension.

Key Responsibilities

- Open, host, and oversee the sales centre during scheduled weekend hours.
- Greet visitors in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to general inquiries.
- Provide basic information about the new home community using reference materials and information sheets provided.
- Distribute brochures, floorplans, and other marketing materials to interested visitors.
- Collect visitor contact information for follow-up by the sales team.
- Maintain a simple record of visitor traffic and inquiries.




- Prepare and email a brief traffic report at the end of each weekend.
- Keep the sales centre presentable and welcoming.

Qualifications

- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently.
- Strong interpersonal and basic communication skills.
- Comfortable answering phone calls and interacting with the public.
- Basic computer and email skills.
- Ability to organize and submit easy weekly reports.
- Familiarity with Cobourg and the surrounding area is an asset.
- Previous experience or general knowledge of residential real estate is a bonus, but not required.

No real estate licence or sales experience is necessary. All relevant community information and reference materials will be provided.

Position Details

Hours: Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Location: On-site at a new residential development sales centre in Cobourg at the Northumberland Mall (next to Metro).

Duration: Approximately two months initially, with the possibility of an extension.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 per week
