This is a temporary part-time position (80% FTE) within the Children's Medical Care department at IWK Health. You'll utilize your advanced nursing competencies to assess, diagnose, and manage pediatric patients with gastrointestinal issues effectively.

Holding a Master’s degree in Nursing and current certification, you will provide holistic, family-centered care while driving team efficiency and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments for pediatric patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and manage medical conditions




- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient-centered care
- Educate families on disease processes and health promotion
- Lead clinical policy development and enhance nursing practices

Requirements:

- Master’s degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner Certification
- 5 years of pediatric nursing experience
- 2 years of GI nursing experience preferred
- Current license with Nova Scotia Nursing Regulator
- Competence in BLS and NP-led clinic management
