We are a family in St.

John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, seeking a compassionate and dedicated elder care provider to join us in a part

-time, live-out position caring for our 79 year-old mother, who continues to recover from a stroke that occurred in March.
She is mobile with a walker/cane (1-person assist for safety reasons) and requires help with daily vision and physio exercises as well as emotional support and encouragement.

No assistance with personal hygiene currently required.

Expected schedule of 9 AM

- 2 PM, Monday
- Saturday and starting AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

The ideal candidate will act as a companion, providing essential social interaction and support to our loved one.

We value the importance of companionship in enhancing the quality of life for our mom.
In this role, you will also assist with respite care, allowing family members a much-needed break.
Your responsibilities will include personal care,



ensuring our mom feels comfortable and supported in her daily activities.
We offer a competitive wage of $22.00 per hour for the right person who shares our commitment to caring for our mom.
