About the opportunity

Workplace Medical Corp. is seeking a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor to deliver engaging, practical training to workplace participants.

This contract opportunity offers approximately 2–4 days of instruction per month, with a combination of virtual courses and in-person sessions throughout the GTA.

We are looking for a confident facilitator who creates a welcoming learning environment and helps participants build the knowledge and confidence to support someone experiencing a mental health challenge.

Responsibilities

- Deliver Mental Health First Aid courses in accordance with program requirements and approved curriculum.
- Facilitate discussions, activities and practical learning exercises.
- Create an inclusive, respectful environment for participants.
- Coordinate course preparation, materials and delivery with the Workplace Medical team.
- Complete required attendance records, course documentation and participant certification processes.
- Maintain current instructor certification and meet applicable program requirements.

Qualifications

- Current,



valid Mental Health First Aid instructor certification authorizing delivery of the applicable courses.
- Experience facilitating training for adult learners, preferably in workplace settings.
- Strong communication, presentation and group facilitation skills.
- Confidence delivering both in-person and virtual training.
- Robust organizational skills and reliable follow-through.
- Availability for approximately 2–4 training days per month.
- Ability to travel to training locations throughout the GTA.

Compensation and contract details

- Contract/subcontractor position.
- Compensation of $40 per hour.
- Reimbursement of required per-participant seat fees for courses delivered under this contract.
- Course dates coordinated in advance with the Workplace Medical team.
