North Point Schools (Grades K-12) is looking for a dependable, personable full-time school bus driver to join our community as one of our long-serving drivers retires on December 1, 2026.

Our two campuses are in the Richmond area of SW Calgary and the University Innovation Quarter, near the University of Calgary, in the NW. As our driver, you’ll connect them every day and get our students to the field trips, games and events that bring our experiential approach to learning to life.

WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT

- This is YOUR bus. You’ll drive our 72-passenger school bus and take real ownership of it.
- You won’t be learning alone. You’ll work alongside two exceptional, long-time North Point drivers who will help you settle into the daily duties and school routines.
- Full time hours. You’ll work all 180+ school days, most of them full days.
- Paid training. Full-pay training begins in mid-November.
- $30 per hour, with paid waiting time on almost all school field trips.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Run the morning and afternoon shuttle between our two campuses,



including afternoon drop-offs at sports venues
- Drive intra-day field trips
- Keep your bus clean, safe and road-ready:

– Regular washing at a truck wash

– Interior cleaning and sweeping

– Fueling

– Taking the bus to the mechanical shop for repairs and for its CVIP inspection twice a year

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

- Class 2 licence with an “S” endorsement (required)
- No air ticket required
- Current driver’s abstract
- Current criminal records check from the Calgary Police Service or RCMP
- A minimum of 2 years of school bus driving experience
- Strong communication skills and a genuine ease working with students and staff
- Reliability and flexibility

Experience:

- School bus driving: 2 years (preferred)
