- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
- Assist with buffet, à la carte, and event food production
- Complete daily prep lists and communicate any shortages
- Set up, stock, and maintain assigned stations
- Cook proteins, vegetables, starches, soups, sauces, and other menu items as needed
- Follow proper food handling, cooling, reheating, and storage procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow health and safety standards at all times
- Assist with receiving, rotation, labeling, and storage of food products
- Work as part of a team during busy service periods
- Help with cleaning duties and end-of-shift close down
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs when needed
- Food Handler Certification is an asset
- Must be willing to follow recipes, portion standards, and kitchen procedures
Pay Rate: $23.02/hour during probation and $24.02/hour after probation
