Reporting into executive leadership, the Controller will own the full accounting operation - from day-to-day transactional oversight through to financial strategy - across the company and its affiliated entities. You'll lead close and reporting, drive budgeting and forecasting, safeguard the business through strong internal controls, and act as a trusted financial partner to ownership and management.What You'll Do
Oversee all accounting functions, including AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, inventory, cash management,



and the general ledgerPrepare and review financial statements across multiple Canadian and international entitiesLead month-end and year-end close processesBuild and deliver financial reporting packages for ownership and executive leadershipAnalyze financial performance and recommend improvements to profitability and cash flowOwn the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle, including financial models supporting strategic initiativesTrack budget-to-actual performance and flag risks and opportunitiesEnsure compliance with Canadian and US accounting standards and tax obligationsDesign, implement, and monitor internal controlsLead all external audits and government reporting requirementsMentor and develop accounting team membersDrive process improvements and support ERP/system upgradesWhat You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related fieldCPA designation5 - 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a senior accounting or leadership roleManufacturing industry experience strongly preferredMulti-entity or international accounting exposure considered an assetAdvanced Excel skills and strong ERP/accounting software experienceExperience with Sage 300 or similar systems considered an assetStrong leadership, communication, and analytical abilitiesTo be eligible for this role, you must be legally eligible to work in Canada.We use AI tools as part of our recruitment process to enhance efficiency and improve candidate experience.
