Courier

As a Courier, you play a crucial role for Dynacare and act as a true representative of the company. You are responsible for the pickup and safe delivery of medical samples in a courteous, timely, and respectful manner. These samples have important medical outcomes and treatments for physicians and patients, so our efficiency, accuracy, and careful transport are essential. Even seconds of delay can have a lasting impact on a client’s healthcare needs.

Responsibilities

- Ensure all samples are picked up as scheduled for clients.
- Deliver medical reports and other mail to all locations on assigned routes.
- Act as a representative of the company and remain courteous, informative, and professional at all times.
- Maintain responsibility for the safety and security of the vehicle at all times.

Qualifications

- Positive approach and friendly attitude with a laser focus on quality.
- Strong teamwork skills; capable of working independently while being punctual and reliable.
- Valid G driver’s license with a 3‑year clean driving abstract.
- Physically able to lift up to 30 pounds.




- Minimum 1 year of experience in a commercial driver/courier role.
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification.

Working Conditions

- Lift and transport specimen bags, supplies, and waste from different locations.
- Move in and out of vehicles and onto stairs.
- Carry items up and down stairs and in and out of buildings.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds; walk on stairs and continuously get in and out of vehicles.
- Handle body fluids and work in hot and cold weather.
- Drive in city and on the highway, day or night, in all weather conditions.
- Handle TDG regulated substances.
- Drive long hours, possibly to and from out-of-town or rural locations.

Compensation

Pay rate: $19.00 – $22.75 per hour. Final pay offer is determined by experience and education.

Additional Information

Criminal background verification and a explicit driver abstract must be met as a condition of employment.
