Reporting to the Supervisor of Arena Operations, the Arena Attendant will be responsible moving nets, cleaning dressing rooms, sweeping stands and bleachers, timekeeping, skate patrolling, snow removal and assisting with any Special Events. This position requires the incumbent to be responsible for the safe and effective operation of the facility and will comply with all health and safety practices as it relates to the work, standard operating guidelines and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. It is important to keep up to date on all facility activities, programs and service. The hours of work are scheduled in advance and include evenings, weekends and holidays.
Work location: TD Civic Centre/ Lions Park Arena
Work Address: 79 Market St. S./ 20 Edge St.
Qualifications
- Possess excellent communication & customer service skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Valid Standard First Aid Certificate with a level "C" CPR must be submitted prior to commencing employment
- A current Police Clearance Certificate (dated within the past 3 months) must be submitted for approval by the Corporation prior to commencing employment
