Position Overview

We are looking for aShop Foreman tojoin our team withCalgary Honda . The successfulcandidate is someone who is passionate about the automotive industry and eagerto contribute to our growing team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

- Oversee thedaily shop operations and supervise Technicians to ensure that tasks arecompleted efficiently within the dealership standards.
- Responsiblefor assigning work and schedule to Technicians/ Apprentices.
- AssistService Manager with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions asneeded.
- Providetraining and support for development to Technicians/Apprentices while stayingupdated on new technologies and repair techniques.




- Coordinatethe workflow of vehicles ensuring the efficient use of resources and timelycompletion of repairs.
- Monitor thequality of repair work and conduct routine inspections and audits.
- Responsiblefor implementing and maintaining Health and Safety practices throughout theshop while also ensuring that all employees/staff are following the policies inplace.
- Responsiblefor diagnosing vehicle issues and performing test drives with customers asrequired.
- Ensure theShop is clean and organized.
- Reviewingrecords of customer comebacks, including repair orders, service reports, andcustomer feedback to identify trends and recurring issues.
- Regularlycheck the shop’s equipment and tools to ensure that it is in a good workingcondition and meet safety standards.

Qualifications Required

- Familiarity with Honda diagnostic toolsand systems is an asset but not required
- 3-5 years of experience in a leadershipor foreman role is considered an asset
- You have a valid Driver’s license andprovide a clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Ability to carefully and safely driveboth standard and automatic vehicles.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items andequipment such as tires, tools and equipment.
- You have a growth mindset and arecontinuously innovating and developing your skills
