Lead impactful health programs as the Manager of Health and Wellness with the Gwich’in Tribal Council in Inuvik, NT. This permanent, full time position focuses on culturally safe services aligned with community needs.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Manager will coordinate multiple health service areas, including Child and Family Advocacy and Jordan’s Principle. You will ensure equitable access to health programs and oversee project implementation, resource management, and staff development. By fostering collaboration among health sectors, you will contribute to the GTC's mission to enhance overall health and wellness in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise GTC staff to ensure culturally safe service delivery
• Advise on quality assurance and health service opportunities




• Collaborate closely with various stakeholders and partners
• Lead operational oversight of health promotion projects
• Mentor and develop a high-performing Health and Wellness team
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Health or Social Sciences
• Significant experience in health service program management
• Valid Class 5 driver's license required
• Clean Criminal Record Check
• Knowledge of Gwich’in culture and community wellness challenges
