We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender/Server to join our Tanglefoot Bar & Grill in Hudson's Hope, BC ! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will ensure a lively atmosphere where guests feel welcomed and valued. Duties
Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, including food and drink options
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately, following recipes and safety standards
Take customer orders efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring accuracy in order entry and billing
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining a clean and organized service station
Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service,
address inquiries, and resolve any issues promptly
Skills
Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant serving or bartending
Strong knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS or similar platforms
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently
Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, billing, and change calculation
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
Experience with cashiering, serving, and managing food industry standards
Effective communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
Demonstrated hospitality mindset with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
