A private family is seeking a reliable, organized and caring Household Manager/Nanny to support the day-to-day needs of their home while providing childcare and supervision as required.
The ideal candidate is warm, proactive and highly organized, with the ability to manage changing priorities and balance household responsibilities with the needs of the children. This person must also be a confident and responsible driver who is comfortable handling school and activity transportation. This could be a previous ECE, or someone who just finished university and looking for a full time role. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Responsibilities
Maintain an organized and smoothly functioning household
Manage family schedules, appointments and calendars
Complete household errands and grocery shopping
Monitor household supplies and replenish items as needed
Manage laundry
Assist with light meal preparation
Coordinate school and activity drop-offs and pick-ups
Drive the children to appointments, activities and outings
Help maintain household routines and ensure daily tasks are completed
Communicate regularly with the parents regarding schedules, activities and household needs
Provide occasional evening or weekend support when arranged in advance
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Household Manager, Family Assistant, Babysitting, Nanny or in a similar private-home position
Strong organizational, communication and time-management skills
Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work independently
Warm, patient and responsible approach
Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record
Confident and safety-conscious driver
Reliable vehicle and appropriate automobile insurance
Valid First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
Ability to provide skilled references
Transparent vulnerable sector or criminal record check
Legally eligible to work in Canada

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
