Occhiolino, part of the Alter Ego Group of restaurants, is a contemporary Italian restaurant located at Bathurst and College Street, centred on fresh, house-made pasta, intimate dining, and warm, thoughtful hospitality. In addition to our restaurant, we also operate a wholesale pasta program.

We're looking for a Line Cook to join the kitchen team, where you’ll work with fresh, handmade pasta and high-quality Italian ingredients in a rapid-paced, collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Prepare dishes with consistency and attention to detail, following Mercatto recipes and plating standards
Support the kitchen leadership team
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe station at all times
Stay on top of prep duties and contribute to effective, smooth service
Contribute to a positive, high-performance kitchen culture

WHO YOU ARE
Culinary training or education is an asset
Strong knife skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques
Ability to follow direction and maintain composure during service
A positive attitude, clear communication, and team-first mindset




A genuine interest in learning and developing within a hospitality kitchen centred on from-scratch cooking.
