A 100+ year old High Tech company specializing in the Automatic Identification industry has an opening for the following position:

Field Service Technician – Cambridge Area

This position involves installing, repairing, servicing and supporting products such as Label Printers, Photo ID Printers, Barcode Scanners, Label Applicators, Wireless Terminals and Networks.

Responsibilities
Installation of current equipment
Train customers on the use and maintenance of products
Respond to urgent break/fix service requests
Product support via telephone or email
Schedule and perform preventative maintenance service
Complete service reports
Manage parts inventory
Maintain excellent customer relationships

Requirements
College or University Degree, Diploma or Certificate in either Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Experience in Field Service Repair
Ability to communicate openly and confidently




Work independently with valuable time management skills
Good trouble shooting skills to define problems
Ability to read technical mechanical and electrical drawings
Strong computer skills
Have a reliable vehicle along with a clean driving record

The optimum candidate will have experience with installing and supporting Barcode Technology Equipment.

Product training will be available.
