Adventure Growth Space is looking for a Part time Math Tutor to work with elementary school students in a small-group learning setting.
The position currently focuses primarily on students in Grades 1–6. Each tutoring session is approximately 1.5–2 hours.
Responsibilities
Tutor students in Math, primarily Grades 1–6
Explain math concepts clearly and help students develop solid foundational skills
Provide practice and support based on students’ individual needs
Help students improve problem-solving skills and confidence in Math
Monitor student progress and provide feedback when needed
Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment
Qualifications
Strong Math skills
Experience tutoring or working with children is preferred
Patient, responsible, and able to explain concepts clearly
Comfortable working with small groups of students
University students and recent graduates are welcome to apply
Education, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or a related background is an asset
Ability to tutor higher grade levels in the future is an asset
